Hi from Texas, and wow I'm glad I found this place!

Hi everyone, I just joined and I've been lurking for a couple of days. I've been trying to learn a little bit so that if I ask a question it won't be too dumb. I'm new to the high-end watch scene. I bought the blue/black bezel Rolex GMT II and it is my first Rolex/nice watch. I've always worn a Citizen, but recently got bitten by the Rolex bug and I'm glad I did. My father and grandfather both had Rolex watches and so I decided I should have one at least once in my life. Unfortunately when my grandfather died my father sold both of their Day/Dates. One was white gold and one was yellow gold, and he never offered to sell them to me, unfortunately. I am learning a lot here and look forward to future discussions with you all.

Welcome aboard, I'm new as well to this forum and what a coincident I'm a citizen watch wearer as well and currently own four of them. Recently I bit the bullet and bought a used Rolex Daytona black dial SS, followed by a new Yacht Master II SS. Now I'm looking at getting the new Submariner blue SS/G I've got a disease I tend to overdo things, must admit I do love the product. The other thing that really made the transition from Citizen over to Rolex so enjoyable was the professionalism and knowledge of Claudio at Damiani Jewelers. One last thing that really help as well after much research is they are extremely competitive on price👍. Cheers......🍻🍻
