Not much of a strap man myself, but must say I love that checker-board look and white stitching on that one!!

Thanks guys. I like it alot more than I thought I would. As soon as I saw this strap, I knew it woud work on the GMT, but I had in mind a vintage looking calf with contrast stitching for the Explorer. It just wasn't working out with most leathers though because the lug holes are closer to the case than the 40mm watches and the strap gets rubbed.
The carbon fits just fine, and I've got a line on an alligator strap that fits it too. Maybe I'll get one for dressier someday, but for now, I like this one |

Yes Bruce the carbon works well on the Explorer.

Yep, as I told Bruce somewhere else, that combo has my seal of approval. Even though I generally prefer bracelets, that black strap fits the EXP really well.

Thanks Jim! How 'bout this one?
This is another Di-Modell in calf. One of the best made straps I've seen! |
