The last Rolex I had I left the hologram on. After while it made for a sticky mess. Whats the best way to remove it? And does it really matter if you do?

I just went trhough this.
I just peeled the hologram off then used some stuff called "goof off".
It removes label goo really well. I'm sure nail polish remover might work also.
Becareful not to get the glue into the groves in the back of the case.

The first thing I do is remove it. Peel it off with your nails and fingers then rub off the glue under the tap. thats what I always do.

A hairdryer will do the trick, CJ. Just blow hot air onto the hologram for a certain period of time till it's really nice and warm. Then it will peel off easyily and you can stick it on the top left hand corner of your warranty certificate.

The sticky goo that's left behind will come off with soap and water using a toothbrush.

If you really insist on removing the hologram, CJ, which I seriously advise against doing because it decreases the resale value to almost nothing and it causes the watch to become unregulated, you might try using lighter fluid to get the glue off.

Rock is right you should'nt remove the sticker unless you are 100% going to keep it for the rest of your life.
