How long will Panerai have replacement parts
Hello.
Looking to buy a 422 again.... I am a bit worried in 30 years if there will be replacement parts available. My other watches are ETA based, so there is no worry about getting parts, as there are millions. The P3001 is a very limited movement, and in 100% in house... How long will it last. what happen if a spring breaks, or a screw snaps durring service. Please calm me down :) |

And the 217 (destro 127)
I'm not sure why there wouldn't be parts available in 30 years. 422 is regular production, and Panerai is not going anywhere.

I'd say if worrying about replacement parts a Panerai 30 years from now is the biggest issue confronting you, you're a very fortunate person. :)

I would say Richemont probably has as much chance as the Swatch group (ETA) to be around 30 years from now. |
