Hi. I'm a long time guest lurker (a year or so) finally joining about 2 weeks ago and just now making my first post.

A little about my watch history. I currently have but don't wear a 16610LV because I thought I would love it, but I'm going to flip it for a new 116600 Sea Dweller 4000 once my career situation stabilizes. The straightforward design of the SD 4000 is just mesmerizing. I'll even be taking it underwater, what a concept! I'll be graduating from a Victorinox Dive Master LE 500, which is an adequate watch I'll keep forever, but is also a relic of my 20s. It's now time to mature into the world of horology. Along those lines, I'm also drooling over a JLC MUT Moon 39 as my dress watch. I think (hope) that those 3 will keep me satisfied for the next few decades. If you couldn't tell, I like classic yet simple and effective designs. See also: Metzger engines.

Other stuff I'm nuts about includes diving, cooking, reading, financial planning, metal and classical music, tennis, manual transmissions, craft beer, and of course the lady in my life.

Anyway, just dropping in to finally say hi and be a little less creepy.

Indeed. I was a little deflated because I pined for one for years, but it was more photogenic than anticipated. I will always think it looks great, but not on me.
