I can speak from personal experience...Bob Ridley is great...costly but he respects the "heritage" of vintage Rolex and will restore it in such a way as to retain its "soul". AbC Watchworks in L.A. Is also a slam dunk option.
As has been said already...do not let Rolex Service Center touch that family heirloom.
