Wow, took two things out of this. 1: can't believe you did it yourself, and it worked.
2: the sub isn't too pretty without the bezel. Just a huge chunk of steel.

This made me do a double-take when I realized it was a 116610, and not a 16610. That's a gutsy move! Now I guess people aren't crazy when they talk about swapping bezels from one to another!

Credit given Anthony for doing the job and sharing it...
No personal experience but I remember reading that the washer would be damaged if put back without a rolex tool to do the job. You would be the first to know if the bezel didn't rotate as expected. This clearly shows the possibility of swapping bezels.
