TT means two-tone. SS and Gold.

i'd somewhat agree, the new looks more plasticy, but i'm warming up to it...

Nope - I too like the previous shade of blue better - it was darker and richer looking

Is that the end of this thread? Being a new Submariner owner I was hoping for a lot more dedicated discussion on this superb timepiece!

Congrats on the new watch, but not sure you have looked around TRF enough. There are literally hundreds, and possibly thousands (yes) of threads on the Submariner, in all it's guises here on TRF.

Don't use Google, use the search tools here on "116610" or "submariner" and you'll be swamped by the results... here is one I just did, over 500 results

Thanks, yes will have more of a look around. I was thinking more of a dedicated thread, like some of the others in the TRF, although a search result I suppose provides a similar thing!

Don't hate the blue, but that black is SO desirable. The more one looks the better it looks.

thinking about pulling the trigger on a YG with a blue face, not sure if I can pull it off through - saw an old guy with one yesterday and it looked amazing, but worried how it looks on me, I have tried it a couple of times, I love it but not sure.
