A Little Perplexed!

Have my DJ2 for a week and have worn it regularly. Yesterday I wore it the whole day and tonight i looked at it and it was stopped at 3PM. I thought Rolex watches had 50 hour power reserves. Is this normal?

Sounds normal to me, if it had around the 40 to 50 hours of down time during the past week (meaning off the wrist) and being initially started by a full wind of 40 turns at the begining...
Wearing your Rolex only keeps it wound, and unless you are supper active (as in running a marathon for example), you are not adding more wind, but just keeping it running.

It is a ~50 hr reserve from a fully wound state. Simply wearing it does not magically give it 50 hours, it needs activity (650 wrist turns just to keep it static) and any less than required; it will eventually run down. Yes, they will stop on your wrist if you are not active enough..

Did you wind it fully before putting it on ? It is possible that you may need to give it 20 winds or so every few days.

Test it by winding fully and setting it down in a safe location until it runs down.

I wear my DJ2 everyday and when i initially got it i gave it 30 winds and as long as i keep wearing it regular it hasn't stopped yet.
