Greetings from South Florida
Greetings,
I am new to this fantastic forum. I have been reading it for a while and I have learned a lot. Fantastic people, very knowledgeable and friendly. My addiction started when my wife bought my first Rolex in 1993 for Christmas. It is a ss Sub date. This is my daily watch and it still looks like new. I got my second watch in 1998 and it is a tt blue dial sub. Just last week, my wife thought I needed a Daytona so she got me one for my birthday and it is a two tone with a gold dial. I think the next one will be a DJ tt with a black dial and diamonds. That's the one she really likes. Not really my style but who am I to complain? I look forward to participating and continuing to learn more about the brand. All the best, |

Hola,
I am a Ft. Lauderdale guy myself. I have not had the honor of owning a Rolex but am a fan of all Swiss mechanical timepieces. I have an Omega SMP, a Hamilton Khaki field chrono, an Orient 12 year calendar (Japanese but very impressive, far superior to Seiko) and several Russian watches. I plan on purchasing a Roly in the next year or so, probably a Sub but I like the Explorer II or the GMT Master also. |
