Hey Gang

I'm hear to learn as much as I can about the Submariner and buy one.

I'm from Rhode Island (that small state in between Massachusetts and Connecticut).

I own two Omegas (vintage 1963 Seamaster w/ date / Sunburst dial) and a Speedy Reduced. I think I'm ready for the big time.

Any insight on the 16610 vs 116610 is helpful and much appreciated. Althought, I'm fairly certain I'm going to purchased the 16610.

Cheers!

Welcome to TRF.

I personally prefer 4 and 5 digit to the modern references, although I have to say the improvements in the claps are impressive.

Welcome aboard. I prefer the classic SubLV 16610 due to its versatility of black dial green bezel insert, black bezel insert, and maxi dial.

Get the one that appeals to you best.
