Loved the pictures on your website as well as your reviews (Both BLNR and Exp II). Used to look at the pictures a lot before getting my BLNR. |

Great pictures. Not sure how you ended up at 5/5 legibility. It's exceedingly hard to read especially at night or on a dark plane while traveling. The lume is faint at best after an hour or two of no exposure to light and I always find myself searching for the GMT hand triangle that virtually disappears on the hour marker cups. The triangle should be moving along the inner circle with the tip of the triangle pointing at the hour markers vs. being overlayed.

After lusting for years for the blue/black GMT, I finally got one. I traded in a finicky Patek Aquanaut for the Rolex. It joins a President and a DateJust and one remaining Patek.
I did a lot of research on the GMT before I made the final decision. Your review was the deciding factor. It's a great review and I would agree with your conclusions. I did have to do a lot of Youtube watching before I found a usable tutorial on setting the watch. Getting the date, time, and the blue hand all set isn't as simple as my other watches. I guess that's why I don't own and watches with a lot of complications. I knew, going in, that the shiny parts of the bracelet would get scratched. I guess that's the ugly side of real life. I think the GMT will become my daily wear. |

I've been drooling for a while. Just ordered one yesterday and have been quoted 2-3 weeks til it comes in. I am super anxious. Pics to follow once it arrives.

Liked it.. thanks for the review. The only thing I slightly disagree with is the Movement part where you scored it 8 out of 10.. Yea it would be nice to see that 3186.. but would the watch be the robust workhorse it is without the oyster case back?
Anyways I wonder when they are going to put modified versions of the new 3255 movement into these subs and gmts.. or if they ever will? |
