Hands-on Review New Daytona Cerachrom ref. 116500LN>>>>>>>>

The pictures in this review will reconfirm why this watch is selling for as much as 70% above retail and why there's so much frenzy going on.

Enjoy guys!!!

For the lucky few:

Does anybody have confirmation if any of the Canadian ADs receive their first batch?

Have to agree its a 16 year old Daytona with a simple push fit ceramic insert and slightly different dials nothing more.

Nice find - thanks for the post.

I'm really warming up to the black even though I have $ down on the white.

The problem for me is that I can't read my 116520 black dial for sh*t.

My pleasure. After perusing both models, I'd say the black is the winner. No wonder why it is Sir Jackie Stewart's choice and the one Rolex engraved for him.

Definitely a super looking watch and I hope at some point (even though I am not really a Daytona guy) to land one. Still don't get this issue of deliberate short supply by Rolex though, if indeed this is their strategy. Yes, it may make the watch more iconic and more sought after, but the resultant hiked up resale prices are surely not increasing Rolex profits on the Daytona unless this triggers the sale of more of them? Sales cannot increase of the watches are not in ADs to sell? This also surely serves to annoy the many customers who would buy the new Daytona if they could source same, if 'normal' distribution rates permitted that.

No way i pay over retail from a trusted seller. And as trusted as they may be i have trust issues. Lol. I buy from an AD to buy piece of mind. But never before have i had so many broken promises in tryin to get a watch. But not much i can do. I am at the mercy of the AD. I have gotten over the whole "i want the watch now" thing. Life goes on. I get the call when i get the call. (After the REAL VIP's have been taken care of i guess.)
