Hi.

Is there anyone that has a good write up or tutorial how to install the date disc on a Rolex 1570 Caliber?

Thanks.

1. Take watch to a component watchmaker.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Yes, but all 1575s have an autowind module saying 1570, I assume that is why the OP said 1570.

They only have 1570 if someone, at some time has replaced the auto bridge and ordered a bridge with the incorrect calibre number on it.

Are you sure about this? I can't find any pictures of 1575 movements that don't say 1570 on the auto bridge. I was under the impression that they never manufactured any bridges that said 1575.

I am sure. I have been servicing Rolex movements for 25 years. The auto bridge with 1575 is available and should be fitted but often movements have the incorrect calibre number on it. Its not a problem as the bridges are physically identical.
