Pre Daytona 6234 help please

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a 6234 pre Daytona chronograph and have been searching the websites for a “buyers guide“ but I can't find anything significant enough to ensure I know the small details to look for.

There are so many dial variations which doesn't help. Was there a difference in case backs on both sides or hands? Some case backs I’ve seen are a little less rounded on the serated edge and others a little more of a corner edge. Also did some have a pointer on the end of the large master chrono hand?

Please feel free to comment on anything.

Thanks very much.

If you want to be sure you get a reputable watch, then I would suggest you chcek out the sales section of the forum here, and contact one of the trusted sellers - they're pretty good at sourcing watches and can point you in the direction of good vintage dealers.

Good luck!
