I don't think he ever said it was a Rolex or a Tudor. He was saying the movement looks like those he has seen before in Rolex Tudors. And to those who don't know... it does look similar. (see below for an example of a Rolex 17 jewels manual wind from the same period.) It definitely isn't a Rolex/Tudor movement as it doesn't have the engravings, but it is very similar in nature as most watches from that period used the same basic design. Kind of like the current Panerai manual winds (Unitas 6497 based movements) of today.
