Sears actually has a long history of having watches made for and sold by them.
Burlington pocket watches, made by Illinois. Up to Allstate made by Heuer in the 60's and 70's . Among many others.

Yeah!

Did you crack her open and see which movement it has? I'm curious...

Sears was a big deal at one time and did have a lot of big makers doing "store brand" watches for them.
