Another well narrated review Bruce.

Personally I couldn't live without a date, but my friend has this watch and it's slimmer proportions compared to my GMT make it sit better on the wrist I feel.

I like my Sub date too. The simplicity of this watch is admirable though, especially on a NATO strap:
