Red Submariner

Hi - can someone tell me the model number for a submariner with red writing.
Would also like the period of manufacturing and the rough cost in UK Pounds if im ever lucky enough to find one.

As well as a white SS Daytona i now have my grail radar set on the lookout for one of these

There are always a few to be found in the used dealers windows in London. So they are not rocking horse rare, just expensive!

The main trouble with the red Subs or SD is finding a genuine red dial watch. There are a lot of altered period subs and SD out there so do your homework before you buy. Most 1680 red subs were made 1966-73,but some schools believe they continued to the very late 1970s

It is interesting to read from the above thread that the Red Sub is the same 1680 model, except the first half had the words Submariner in red while the second half had the word in white.

Does anyone know the series numbers for the Red Subs?
