Before you hand your watch over at Rolex service centre, do you...
The question is, what's the normal procedure like? I'm coming from the point of, like car rental, staff would show you the existing dents and stuff before handing the car over. Do they normally do that in the service centre?
This is what happened to me. Handed over my watch get the bracelet adjusted. Next thing I know, the staff brought my watch back adjusted, and pointed at the back of my watch and said, oh you've got a good dent there, how did it happen? I looked at it, then only realized there is really something. Instead of a dent, it was more like a bulge in the middle of the edge of the back case. I swear it wasn't there before the bracelet adjustment, but I wasn't intended to argue as there was no proof anyway. What's your thought Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would reccomend the watchbuyersgroup.com in Cali. 3year warranty with there service and free insured shipping. Hands down the best watch service experience I have ever had. My last watch I sent to them actually runs and winds smoother than when it was brand new.

I'd prefer not to hand my Rolex over to rsc. Fortunately they are quite robust.

Always always take detailed pictures of anything before handing it over for service. Always.

The Rolex service centre in London makes a note of the condition of the entire watch prior to servicing. It is recorded on the service estimate.
It is good practice to have your own pictures for your records at the drop off to prevent any misunderstanding.
