Had the chance to try a polar 216570!!
After owning a 16570 for 13 yrs I was curious to try a 216570 since I always thought the old one wore a bit small.
Yesterday I had the chance to try a Polar one and while it's a very nice reference I like the Sub C way better , I have the wrist to handle the 42mm but to my eyes the dial looks too big , while the Maxicase wears similar in size overall the dial is smaller, I have to say it wears very comfortable and fits nice under a cuff but for me I like the Ceramic bezel references better, just wish the maxicase had lugs similar to the Exp. Now I'm wondering how an SD43 will fit me, similar case and smaller dial with a Ceramic Bezel!! A few pics: |

It suits you really well, but if you like the others better then that's the way you should go.
I expect the sd43 will be just fine on you |

the exp42 you tried is a better compliment to the sub-c imop. but, i can see the sub-c hitting the classys after the sd43 arrives too...
shows how a exp2 can stretch the appeal of a 2 watch collection so easily. |
