Military Alternative

I acquired my Sub in 1970 out of the military PX in Panama. Knowing the rough life it would have from my career (I was a Para/Infantry) I used a full coverage nylon wrist strap.. Certainly not as svelte as the rubber on this thread but it kept my watch protected and made the $170 cost a lot easier to bear out of my meager army pay. It is now in Texas for its 4th overhaul ($1250).
