Do you bring more than one

We are going on a tropical vacation, I am going to wear my SD. Thought about bringing my other Rollie for nites out. Any thoughts? We will be going to Antigua, and some surrounding islands.

Unless you are positive about the security of your other watches, I'd suggest you take just ONE watch on this trip.

Good luck and have a great time,

JJ

I'm thinking the same thing for my upcoming holiday.
Not familiar with the area your going to.
I think the SD works well in all situations.

I usually travel with a four watch case. Not for any reason, just like to have options. I do leave the watches in the hotel safe at the main desk usually. Call ahead to see if they offer this service.

Part of why travelling with a Panerai is so good is that I can just bring straps, and change the watch that way.

Well myself when I was diving two watches, but if just a holiday one will do less risk to loose, or get stolen etc.

.. as long as you don't check out and forget you had something in the hotel safe, like a friend of mine did ..

That's a very good point. With most electronic safe you can set your own combination. Obviously there is a way for the hotel to open the safe since many guests leave the safe locked on their last day at the hotel.

The safest place for a expensive watch is on your wrist. Using that logic, I would only bring one.
