From time to time, he is busy with work and has not been around much. Although I spoke with him Friday and said that he would try to make it back shortly.

No, not yet. I put it on hold cuz it's a buyer's market right now and what I've been offered for my ExpII was insulting. I will not do a straight trade for a watch that retails at $1500 less than the one I have. I mean, it's not worth the BNIB price I realize... but at the same time it's gotta be a relative depreciation.

Something is cooking... but its on simmer right now.

Just a word of advice, John. DON'T sell the Exp-II. You won't get much for it and when you do decide on another Rolex, you know it's going to cost you a bomb.

You can always buy a Panny at some stage in your life, but a Rolex is forever. Must have at least ONE in your collection.

Cheers - JJ

thanks JJ but if and when the right deal comes up, the ExpII is gonzo. I like the brand but Panerai is more 'me' on all fronts. Since I have a modest salary and many other priorities, I can't have both. But until then, I'm enjoying it.

In all honesty, I will feel sorry to see it go!! The Exp-II is just YOU!!
