Buy a Datejust. You’ll be refreshingly amazed how good they really are, and seemingly make lot of the sports models seem superfluous.
Good observation and great advice

I'll go off the reservation a bit. I think a great combo would be a 50th Anniversary Sub and a JLC Master Control Geographic.

The Sub is a great conversation piece and versatile casual watch. The JLC can handle business, travel and formal occasions. If I had to get down to two, this would be the way I might go.

I would add a white or blue Sky Dweller, otherwise keep them the way it is!

Definitely depends on personal taste. A simple thing such as wrist size can make a huge difference. For me it's my Rolex air-king with white dial & Roman numerals, next on the list will be another air-king with silver dial.

Shoot, I read the title and posted before reading your thread. I sometimes read the last page of the book first, too.

I would go LVc and BLNR .

If you can get your hands on a Daytona C, I’d flip the BLNR.

Wow, your Daydate is stunning, may I ask what model is it?

Thank you! Reference 228206.

I read the title of the post and not the body so I jumped the gun and posted my favorite two Rolex combo.

OP, apologies for getting in the way here.

If you’re looking to stay with two, then what you have are widely regarded as modern classics.

If you’ve fallen out with either one, I could easily see adding a DJ41. I’d always want a Sub of some sort though

Really the only answer is the two which an individual finds most attractive. For me it would be my Sky D and Sea Dweller offering both a dressy watch and an adventure watch.

I could likely live with this (Mark II Co-axial) instead of the SD however the SD have better water resistance.

Mine would be sd43 and either an explorer 1 or zenith el primero. But also like the jlc reverso tribute to 1931 limited edition

Keep the two you have and if you're jonesing for a third, add something completely different. If it has to be a Rolex, I'd go Daytona or SS SkyD.

LV and LB. Two of the best sunburst dials out there.

No change required. I owned both these watches at one time and I also added a Polar ExpII which I think made a great trio. A slightly more accessible trio than a white dial Daytona too!

Keep what you have and add the SD43. Great three watch combination.

LV-C and SD43 if you are comfortable with the size. If not, consider a NDSub or SD4K.

My current (and for the forseaable future) combo is the BLNR & DSSD.
I often go back/forth....but I really have what I need covered; a GMT & The Beast of a Diver. I'm my own boss so the need for a dress watch is nil.

I think both your watches are great, but I would add on that the DJ 41 adds a whole different look to your watch picture. They truly are beautiful watches, I think great for dress. Of course Blue is the favorite but the brightness of white or even the shine of the silver would be a compliment to your collection.
