How do they set the crystal in a Rolex.
So I have been doing some research and just trying to learn new things about these great timepieces. I have seen the excellent demonstrations by Tools, Jocke, and others, but the one thing I haven't seen anything on how the crystals are actually set in a Rolex.
I am sure that their are different processes for different models and also the sapphire crystals versus the acrylic, but I am not really sure. Can someone point me to a reference that would explain this in the Subs and SD's with the sapphire crystals? I have seen the one on watchgeek but that one only deals with the DJ and the photos leave something to be desired. Thanks!

Ahh! So if I am interpreting that schematic correctly is the crystal held in by three screws?

I believe the sport model crystals that have a rotating bezel are fitted differently than the DJ & DD that do not have moving bezels.
