Grey market for Submariners before it went crazy 1-2 years ago
What was it like? How much would a fairly new second hand 114060 cost?

I got my 114060 with full box and papers, all stickers intact, never worn, 2 months past warranty activation date for $6300 exactly 2 years ago. I'm pretty sure the going rate at the time was around $6000-6500 depending on condition and age. The same shop I bought it from has a 2015 year 114060 for $7500 used, looks to be serviced/polished. Prices for all SS sport models has risen the last year.

Two years ago in HK you could get a BNIB 114060 for HK$46,000 or about US$5.9k.

Bought my 114060 from AD in Indonesia 3 years ago around $6500. But some of my friend laughed at me because grey dealer can get brand new one maybe around $5500-$6000

I bought one in January for $6800 and now two months later the same watch would cost 7200-7500 for a one year old watch.

2015 114060 lightly used for $5500 about 1.5 years ago from TS. BNIB 116613 LB with stickers intact and name on card for $10,500 around the same time from same TS.
Crazy how much prices have increased on modern sport Rolex.

Up here in Canada they were handing out discounts left and right a few years ago. Bought my SubC date about 5 years ago for $6200 CDN cash out the door.
