I am starting to like the idea of Jubilee on 16710. Any suggestion on where to start looking??

Well if you buy the GMT first your AD should be able to buy one for you directly from Rolex. It’s not as cheap as finding a used one but should be easy for your AD to get.

Wow I’ve never been that into the Coke bezel but that is stunning. Great score and instantly changed my mind.

Happy to help! The 16710 has really grown on me. I wish I had bought it years ago for half the price

Low and behold his sale fell through and he just decided to keep it. Since then I’ve been whispering in his ear to let it go. After a few months of convincing him he finally decided to let me have it.

This baby is a really awesome full set. Even has a RSC service card from a recent service. I also bought a like-new jubilee bracelet!

So here she is!

Congrats on this beauty. I’m very sure your friend will feel regret to let go and sold this beauty to you. :)

I have same gmt coke in NOS condition with stick II dial. Love the look of this watch very much especially coke bezel.

Man that bad boy is too darn sexy not to wear! You must have some really strong discipline to not rip those stickers off and wear it!

Very nice! I’d love to add a jubilee bracelet to my 16710 Pepsi and pick up a coke bezel. So versatile!

She belongs on the oyster imo, what a great looking watch. Have always liked the coke over the pepsi. Enjoy it!

I think I prefer the oyster. But all my other Rolex watches are on oysters so it’s nice to shake things up a bit.

Incoming! 16710 GMT Coke

Love love LOVE the 16710 series! The size and overall geometry is perfect for me. They’re also old enough to have a classic look but new enough to be easily serviced.

Couldn't agree more. The 16710 is a perfect marriage of vintage and contemporary

Congrats.

I always wonder on deals with friends how the pricing is. I have never sold one to a friend, but witnessed a sale between very close friends. At that moment we all decided if we sell to each other we use an avg price of what it goes for from a trusted seller.

It does help the 3 other very close friends are into watches just like me.

If I had something that was a big seller I.e. hulk. Daytona C etc though probably would sell to them unless they had no issue being price gauged. You guys are fair game

Actually that’s pretty much what we did. I paid what he was offered from three trusted sellers (which ironically all offered the exact same price)
