Look good to me, as said above Panerai are a law unto themselves re wrist presence, big and bold but with a history and reason for big and bold. Wear it proudly my friend.

PAMs are supposed to be big, bold and in-yer-face. Go for it

I'm also contemplating the exact same Pam with the exact same wrist size. Did you pull the trigger, and if so what are your thoughts after some wrist time? My AD is pushing me to try something besides another Rolex.

I did indeed pull the trigger-- https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=596041

I've only been wearing it for a couple of days but love it so far. I'll say any overhang is mitigated by the thick rubber strap on this watch--I'm planning to try it on a leather strap sometime this week and am prepared for it to look at least a touch bigger on the wrist as a result; will keep you posted!

FYI—I’ve worn it for a few days now, both on the original rubber and an OEM leather strap I bought and am still very much loving this watch. coming from rolex in particular, the easy strap changing (and variety of OEM strap options) is really cool.

Nope-- not too big. It's actually perfect as the lugs just cover your wrist width. I'm seriously contemplating the 682 as well, and will be 'sizing down' from my 1312 at 44mm to their 42mm watches moving forward.
I too have 6.5" wrists, and the 1312 is pushing it, as I should have opted for the 1392 instead. But man, do I love the 1312.

Honestly, the size looks comical. Width to be more specific.

IMO, if you have to ask or having 2nd thoughts then it is probably too big.

looks great on your wrist! I think that Panerai's slightly smaller lugs than some watches, and the leather strap (as opposed to bracelet) make them wear a little smaller than other watches. So if you would normally wear a 39-40, I think a 42 looks great.

I am in the minority when I say I find it big for your wrist, but I am also of the opinion that my opinion should mean nothing to you! If you like it then that is the ONLY validation you need. Enjoy.

Looks like a PAM is supposed to look. Well done and congrats

Only thing I would say is move it an inch higher up your wrist. I cannot imagine wearing a watch that close to my hand, it just looks so uncomfortable (it can’t be because so many people do it but hey-ho.
