discount in London for an Explorer 1

I'm in London, do you know if in some Rolex AD I could get a discount for buying an Explorer 1?

You’ll be lucky to find one let alone a discount. Good luck

Very true you will be lucky to find one at List price and most of the ADs will not give discount on that model. Good luck

No, the UK price is good enough.
No need to discount.

If they sell you one, that now means that's the discount, if they slap your face and throw you out the door, that means no.

I'm pretty sure the consensus on discounts for SS sport models is that there are none anymore. Like someone said, finding one at all is discount enough...

No chance of discounts in UK, even on some Oyster Perpetual. It's really tightening up now. I wonder if that is rubbing off other brands as well? I was at the JLC London boutique and no movement on pricing either

UK and USA are still different markets. Also UK price is cheaper when converted.

The thread relates to a uk purchase.

zero discount on a SS professional Rolex in London. No way. That one has a WL in most locations

You might find one in London if you're lucky, but there is no way you'll get a discount.
It's already cheaper than most places.

I have a reasonable purchase history with both main ad in Philippines spending probably $150k over couple of years. Both are now “no discount” which includes Rolex and also my next fav watch, JLC.

True!

But you wouldn't take the discount if your AD offered you 10-15% on a SS sports model?

No discount on Explorers in London. In fact there are no discounts on Rolex in London period. Not even DJs

I have visited several ADs, in Seldfriges they have one and they would give it to me with the guarantee card and without removing plastics, in WoS they have another one, they keep the card for one year and they remove all the plastics. this last one has made me funny, he says that it is a very wanted model in the UK and that people pay 1000 £ more to have it at the moment, but if it is in several AD !!!

WF sells explorer II's for over retail absolutely. Its probably the same for the explorer i. Not everyone visits every AD so its a convenience to buy online when availability is very hit and miss. Not saying its a good idea, but people do.
