Nice choice and gesture, your son will enjoy very much. That brings back great memories of my dad. Definitely times fly.

I can't wait to do the same one day. The Tudor is a great piece for a college student. Good luck to him!

I know right- the things we do to damage this generation. Honestly though I debated giving him even the Tudor. I certainly wouldn’t have treated a nice watch well when I went away. However, he’s a great kid, responsible, Eagle Scout, Yada yada ...and knows the reference number of every single Rolex I own. Definitely is WIS in the making....which I suspect might put him at a temporary disadvantage on today’s college campus environment (but might be right at home in the engineering department

I’m dropping off my son AND daughter this weekend to start their studies in the engineering department at the U of U. While here I stopped by the AD to have an extra link put in my 16710 bracelet and while it was being worked on my son mentioned that he thought a Sub ND would make a fine graduation present in a few years. I told him I agreed but that he could look around the cases himself and note that there were none in stock and there probably wouldn’t be any when the time comes! I tried to make him feel better by reminding him that he has no brothers so when I die the whole collection goes to him!

Got a Hamilton watch when my kid went for an externship. A Rolex will await him in his graduation. Time flies, two more years...

Great choice. So happy to hear that he appreciates watches. I have a 7, 6 and 2 year old - all boys. I am on the hunt for the Omega Trilogy so that unique watch number will always bond them together.
