Just got a call...

Just got the call the TT CHNR I ordered 2 months ago is in. Now I've been waiting for the Daytona and Skyd for years and supposedly nothing has shown up so far (they say).

I wasn't expecting the CHNR until next year, so now I don't know what to do. Should I layaway the CHNR as I can, and wait for the Daytona or pass on the CHNR and wait?

Would love to know everyone's thoughts?

Thanks!

If you decide against the CHNR I’d gladly take your spot :)

Buy what you like not what others think. I love CHNR and IMO it's most beautiful piece.

The CHNR is a beautiful piece, but I would wait on it. It's hot right now, but we are starting to see unspoken for inventory available.

The wait for the Daytona and Sky-D is unknown and could go on much longer.

The CHNR is here, now.

If you like it, buy it. If you don't like it, pass.

Today is known. Tomorrow is unknown.

At the rate Daytona's are coming in, my thought would be to grab the CHNR now.

You know what they say, "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with."

And, for a TT watch, the CHNR seems to be holding pretty solid, so worst case if you need to dump it, that shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks all!! Appreciate the feedback... I'll go in and try it on to see if it sings to me again. If not, I'll lay it away... for now. I did try it on quickly 2 months ago, and the below is how it looked on me.

Both are so true... The wait times are ridiculous for those two. I'll see tomorrow and will report what I did.

Thanks all!!

Grab the CHNR, when you get the call for the Daytona C or SkyD, sell the CHNR for a ridiculous amount of money and get the Daytona or SkyD

You might not get the call for the Daytona this year or next... but the likelihood of you getting the call goes way up if you keep buying watches from this AD.

Personally I love my CHNR... (then again, I have the 116500 white as well)

If you like it buy it, but if you have any doubts wait for what you want as long as you realistically think you’ll get it.

This is true also - but not sure I'll get a ridiculous amount of money as the tax up here is 13%

I agree with the above also, I purchased the TT Sub from them, this will be #2 ... might be a good thing (as suggested I can place it on layaway also)

I shall assume you ordered the chnr for a reason.. why not take up on it and enjoy it.. who knows when the Daytona will show up and if/when it does, figure it out then! Good luck!

You liked the chnr at one point. If you're hesitant about buying it now, then don't buy. Stay true to yourself!

If you are asking then I would pass. Would you have posted if the call was for the Daytona-C? The TT will be available going forward and for a discount soon enough. Sit tight and get what you want.

I presume you got on both lists for the purpose of owning both and no other reason like flipping.

I’d buy the CHNR that is available now - unless you’ve had second thoughts. If it were me, I’d want them both.

I’m sure you’ve guessed that if you balk now with this CHNR, you’ll likely never see the Daytona 500. You’d appear to be a tire kicker vs. a customer.
