SS vs WG Daytona fit

Hi all. Apologies if this has been asked before or common knowledge but does anyone know if the bracelet fit of SS (random, non C) Daytona is different than the WG Daytona? I have both and when I try to size them in the same holes the fit is noticeably different. It seems like the end links are possibly a touch longer on the WG which is throwing off the sizing? Can anyone comment?

I think overall case size (lug to lug) is the same, the changes are on the crown guards etc. It is possible the end links shape / form / size are different, which would create the effect you re referring too. Pictures would help!

Shape of the lugs are different as viewed from the side of the case.

Not for me. It's an identical fit between the 509 and the 500...I use the exact same sizing for both, i.e., same number of links out and micro adjustment in the clasp.

Yes, the precious metal Daytonas have subtly larger lugs than their SS counterparts.

Can't speak for gold but when I went from SS (non ceramic) to the Platona it was recommended by the AD I wear it a bit tighter due to the weight. I actually posted on TRF about it. I initially did that but within a day or two went back to the same sizing as SS and have been happy ever since. Don't know if that helps, but IMO they size the same (number of links and micro in the clasp) it was just the heft I had to get used to. Not sure of that helps.

I wear my WG GMTc slightly tighter than my SS GMTc (one micro-adjustment). It just works better for me with the extra weight.

the WG and Pt case is absolutely bigger than a SS case

here you go...https://www.rolexforums.com/showpost...33&postcount=2

There is less case between the bezel and the pusher on SS. Look at the 400 marker on the bezel and follow it out to the edge of the case. The Daytona C is the same profile as the previous SS Daytona
