Funny because some pictures of the SD vs BLNR it looks close in size, wonder if you could tell if you didn't know and they weren't right next to each other.

Can't go wrong with the SD43. Just an awesome piece.

If the DSSD feels a bit big check out an Everest or RubberB band for it. They make the larger pieces feel more comfortable on the wrist for daily wear.

If you can pull it off like Anthony....by all means do it! And send us some pics.

I’m fortunate enough to have multiple Rolex watches (I’m old that’s the trade off) I’m wearing my sd43 as my everyday watch. I’m looking for a ym2. Big is better

I’m about 230 and 5’10” with 7 3/4” wrists and I wear a 1675 on a NATO; I really like the fit and feel, but I also wear my watches a bit looser than you do. The Gmt on your wrist looks a bit tight to me and emphasises the disjunct between watch diameter and wrist size. My wrists are not terribly wide, but have some depth to them, so lug-to-lug may be less of an issue.

However, I heartily recommend you take a look at Bremont. They have a 43mm case that fits like a glove because of careful lug design. Their watches are also bomb proof and well designed. Though I prefer the 1675 to my Alt1-ZT/BK, it’s only because I’m not fond of the buckle on their leather straps (it irritates my wrist) and the NATO makes the watch sit too high for many shirt cuffs. As far as the watch goes, it’s outstanding — possibly, in fact, the best watch I’ve ever owned (and I’ve had many high-end pieces).

By comparison, here is a 116713 on my wrist:
