If you rang the AD regularly enough to find out how things are it shouldn't take two years to obtain.
The advantage is having a second time zone function and it sits a little lower on the wrist due to the flatter caseback of the GMT-Master II and resultantly 100 meter less depth rating. Furthermore if you chose the 126710BLRO you would benefit from an additional 22 hours of power reserve over 116710BLNR/LN.

I own the BLNR and the platinum Yacht Master. I looked at the Sub several times.
It didn't fit as nicely as the BLNR or YM and it looked very redundant to the BLNR. I travel a good bit and the BLNR dual time zone feature is convenient. |

This is such a confusing thread. Title asks one question, initial post asks another, people answer randomly... then get into it with another as the answer is not correct!
Between BLNR and LN, get the BLNR if you can. It is the most handsome Rolex in existence today, in my opinion. Between Sub and GMT: - as the one and only watch, I would say GMT: thinner, lighter, easier to wear as a daily, two time zone complication more useful than 300m diving capability, the bling (read: dressy) advantage of polished center links (PCLs). - as a "both of them together": this is the correct answer.
