The pictures that people take on their phones store longitude and latitude numbers as part of the picture properties. I guess it’s poosible that it could be how it was targeted.

Report to Rolex

Somehow they always end up in someone's hands that decide to service / fix them at the Rolex Service Center and you may be getting a call some day (hopefully soon).

Wow. I get that the theft will sting for a while but seriously you need to lighten up a bit. We're sorry for your loss and yes I suppose you are right that we're glad it's you and not us.

Personally I wear my penis on my wrist. Come on..?..off to find a life on AVF.

I'm sorry you took it that way. My life is just fine, thank you and I hope yours is as well.

Somehow I missed this thread originally, and the first question that came to mind after reading through your posts just now was the size/weight of the safe. Not to sneer or criticise, but because mine is on the ground floor and I assumed because it was a bit heavy and difficult to access, that would be enough of a deterrent. But if people are going round ripping them out now... perhaps I need to rethink my setup!

I’m sorry to hear about what’s happened and I hope your get your watches back in the condition they were in the last time you saw them, and I hope they catch the thieves and send them down for a long time.

so Really if someone does not use a Rolex RSC to repair, or try to sell them, or give to a friend, the thieves could theoretically keep the watches forever and no one would be the wiser

I would offer some solace that if you can tell us which watches were stolen and maybe a few pictures, I would be extra vigilant in glancing at serial numbers of Rolex Wearers
