Sub bezel on a GMT ll
Does anyone know where one could buy a submariner type bezel that would fit on a GMT II. Please don't ask why I would want to do this. It is just something I am considering since I really don't use the second/third time zone function but enjoy the case size of the GMT because I have to wear a suit every day. Thanks in advance for the responses and for not letting me know why you think this is a dumb idea.

You could pick up a black sub insert and swap the bezel insert.

I believe the submariner and GMT ll are microscopically different in diameter and, therefore, a regular sub bezel insert would not fit on a GMT II. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the black insert on a GMT looks the business.

yes they will fit if they are a 16710 and 16610. Both are Outside Diameter: 37.65mm Inside Diameter: 30.7mm.
Keep in mind the 14060m and old subs (5513 5512 1665 1680 ) or old GMTs like the 1675 or16750 won't interchange. Might want to specify the model of Sub you have. |

Franken watch? Yeah, I guess so. But as one who has crossed the line myself [life on the razors edge and all], do what makes you happy. I'm into originality as much as the next guy but if it's authentic Rolex parts and completely reversible, then I say have at it!

Great question to the OP as I have often thought the same thing since the sub insert has a pearl on it. I sometime find that more useful than the 24hr feature on the GMT insert. So another question is are both bezes sized the same?
