LOL.
First it's the wrong reference. Second, it's the wrong dial... I mean WTF is that shit? Third, the minute hand??? LOOOOL wtf is up with the sectioned tip? Fourth, the Insert... What in the ever loving shit? Now The SEL PCL above the 12 looks a little "White" but could be a reflection... Without better photos or the watch opened up the remaining parts could be Genuine... BUT why the fuck have Fake dial, insert, hands, in a genuine 16618 when they are the cheapest components.... My thought is total fake. It's not a 1680/8, as the listing is sapphire or mineral. It's not a 16808, the Dial is all wrong, the hands are wrong, the bezel is wrong. It's not a 16618, the Dial is all wrong, the hands are wrong, the bezel is wrong. It's definitely not a 116618 as the case is all wrong. So, it's not any reference I know of for a Gold Sub. Anyone else know a reference I missed?

You know, the Polished bezel ring shows no wear of a base metal. The dented case lug shows no base metal wear. The clasp shows no base metal wear.
It's not worth the risk at the cost but the seller does state that the dial is a refinished. I'm having a hard time finding any proof the bracelet or case aren't genuine other than the horrendous Dial/Insert/Hands. Not worth the risk.

I really don't know wtf that is. Parts of it look awful yet some parts look real. Surely if it was gold plated (fake) it would have come off after all the polishing it's had. Perhaps it's one of those solid gold fakes. Maybe it's a frankenwatch. Either way, leave it well alone.

too polished to be just plated, but too expensive to run the risk. If this were $9k via paypal maybe roll the dice and open it up the minute it lands.... But at $17k? Nah, add another $1k just to bring the dial/bezel/hands back to original.... and that's hoping the rest is actually legit... Too risky.

Here you go... from a 16613 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-S...tOJv:rk:1:pf:0 Took me all of 3 seconds to search. I'm not going to research if it's genuine or aftermarket, thats up to you...

You included a link (a 3 second find!) that included a bezel insert, dial, and hands, for 1350$ Not really a "dial/bezel/hands" for "1k" is it? A genuine Rolex solid 18kt bezel is around 1000$ by itself. The point I'm making is that telling a prospective buyer that a watch with fake parts can be remedied for 1000$ is a false statement, and could cause someone to make an ill-informed purchase. |

I meant insert. Still the statement stands that the damned watch is a trainwreck at that price.
