Parting ways is so hard

Picked up a stainless SkyD white dial. I want to move one of my other pieces as I dont like to have more than 3 rolex's at a time. I have a Subc , Explorer 39 and a datejust 41 blue dial fluted bezel with jubilee band. The Sub I have no plans to move so it's either between the exp or datejust. Help me watch fam

Sounds like it's time to have no more than 4 Rolex's at a time.

Yeah, that's actually the right answer here.

DJ. Also you will be able to replace it in the future easier than the Exp or Subc.
It’s a similar style to the SkyD.

I would move the Explorer 39 and keep the DJ. Blue dial along with jubilee is a nice piece to have in the collection. Would leave you with a Black, Blue and White dial in your collection......perfect!

If one has to go, Exp I it is.
It is the easiest to replace. Last week (in my neck of the woods) an AD quoted me a waiting time of 7-8 mos for DJ 41 fluted bezel, blue dial.

The Blue dial, fluted on Jubilee is not easy to locate in many markets. While parting with any Rolex is painful, the Explorer is probably the one to sell if absolutely necessary. Tough decision indeed.

Good luck whatever you decide.

If it were me, I'd lose the Explorer, if I could only have 3.

But why must you only have three? Lock the Explorer away in a safe for 10 years and tell yourself you sold it. One day, you'll be glad you still have it.

Explorer would be the one. Pretty easy pick up in the future was my thought when I got rid of mine. Also the more i get into this hobby the more I realize I need a date. Not to mention that blue dial DJ is gorgeous!

I have 4 and I feel like 3 is plenty as well.

So, sell the one you like least.

I'd say explorer

I’d sell the DJ, if you must, but all 4 sounds like an outstanding rotation.
