Sold Daytona, Navi size enquiry
Hello TRF, I am requesting a size check for a navitimer - I know it's not a Rolex, but I trust you guys the most with these kind of questions.
I sold my daytonaC and 116520 due to financial reasons and am lusting another chronograph but am on a budget this time. My preference is a navitimer or zenith el primero 38. Can i get your thoughts on whether you think this size is too large for me? Daytona sat perfectly on my wrist however another one is not possible at this time. Please let me know your thoughts Kindest regards, Cloitus Navi wrist shots https://ibb.co/QYMYJZ3 https://ibb.co/pvrJvKN https://ibb.co/nr6HbKr https://ibb.co/tmkGh3T |

Entirely too large... sorry mate. Doesn’t look good. This is just my opinion though. Have you thought about a Sub C possibly, or an OP 39mm

Even an 214270 is great for small wrists.

Is this the 43mm or the 46? If the 46, try the 43mm. If that is too large you can try the older one which is 41.8mm. I like the Zenith, but feel the subdials if you actually use your chrono like I do, is obscured as the Zenith subdials overlap. Thus, I would also strongly consider the new IWC Spitfire chrono at 41mm and all inhouse movement , and priced under 6,000. This just came out and according to my AD, will be out this summer. The other one I would encourage you to consider is the Tudor Heritage Blackbay at 41MM. Both are fantastic deals. |

As others have asked, is is this the 43mm or the 46mm? If it's the latter, try the 43mm. If it's the former, I would look at a different watch because this just looks too big. I would say consider a Speedmaster Professional but they're not small either. There's also the El Primero 38mm, as you mention.

I find my Navitimer B01 43mm to wear exactly the same as my 116610 - in fact the Navi is slightly more comfortable due to having a more domed caseback which keeps the crown from hitting your hand.
