Hey Dman, I have been wondering where you have been. It's nice I ran into you. I put together a new light box compliments of parts from Wally World, as much as I hate that chain. LOL Storage box, a few new lights and some sheets of paper. ;-) Does the color look right? Thanks,
=) maverick
OK, I adjusted it. Another one.....

NICE! That is one of the 3 LE that I would love to have! (Proust, got it. A.C., shown in your pic, and Hemingway)

Roger that GerardoG

I have had the Proust BP in a box totally sealed never opened, man I bought that off e-bay about 3 years ago and don't even know if the pen is in the box I will have to take it to the x-ray machine over the road in the court-house, you know the ones they use to detect those pocket nuclear devices, to actually see what I have got. The Proust is an excellent limited edition model.

I can thoroughly recommend the Agatha. I have the PB and the fountain pen. If you get the ball point try the broad refil, they are awesome.

I did have the Louis XIV but it was just too heavy with all that gold, so I sold it. I have the Mont Blanc Y2K Dragon with the dragon clip and a pearl in its mouth. Great looking pen, but never dipped.

I have to say, I'm not too fond of the Hemmingway, that orange barrel just doesn't do it for me, kind of like the Steve McQueen Explorer II, not a watch that has ever grabbed me.

In recent years, I haven't seen any limited editions that I really like enough to buy, they all seem to be a bit too glitzy.

Cheers & 73

I agree on the newer LE. My advice: USE the Proust!!!! I bought 2, gave one to my dad and kept the other one. They were both sitting in a safe, but after some 'life talk' we both decided to use them. Hey, one of these days we will not be here, so what is the point of storing them? I was like that with my watches, yes I have a small collection, but they were sitting in a safe...once again, what's the point??! To have mint watches that you don't even enjoy? So, back to pens, try your Proust, weight is amazing and the looks.....ah, the looks.....
