no photoshop
I know there is nothing customized about this one - but I still think it's the craziest rolex I have ever seen.
saw one in person in vegas, and still can believe it. |

Cool pics Frostie (and to the owners of them).
I'd have to say the GMT II with the Expy II dial takes the winning prize!

TRolex to my opinion had to refuse manufacture, even if they had a firm order. This is a negative advert for their products !!

Yes you can. Several years ago I had the opportunity to buy a YG TM bezel insert and I had in installed on my TT SUb w/ Serti dial. Watch technician had never done it but thought it would fit and did. Here is what it looked like:

SICKNESS!! I just wanted the normal YM bezel to throw on the normal Sub. I thought it would be something different. Looks really nice though. The bezel must have been costly.

I think list price from Rolex for a replacement 18K YG YM bezel insert was around $900 back then. Don't know today but at the current price of gold, I imagine more. I have seen a few for sale once in a while on "the Bay" for around 1/2 that preowned. You want one? PM me.

I think this Sub looks killer with a Platinum YM bezel insert. Very clean.

I like the idea of a GMT-Master II with a black Sub bezel. That means you have the timer function on the GMT-Master and you can use your imagination when it comes to the 24-hour numbers! :P
Rolex should really do that... a GMT-Dweller or something that is basically a GMT-Master with a Sub bezel and 24-hour numbers on the dial; more functionality!

Maybe we'll see a solid platinum (case, bezel, and bracelet) YM at Basel, but with non-platinum dial variations. That might be nice.
