Grail. I am floored at how nice this is. Saw a blue dial in the metal years ago, long before I was ready to spend that kind of $ on a watch. Always drawn to the silver dial and so here we are. Watched it get delivered on my ring camera sitting at my desk this morning. Got home and got ‘er all sized up. Hands down the most comfortable watch I’ve ever had on my wrist and just a work of art. Damn.

Congrats. I’m curious what’s the wait time at the NYC boutique and what’s spending history is required? Thanks,

I lucked out. I registered my interest a little while ago and have been to a few events at the boutique. I just kept in friendly contact and things worked out. No prior spend history. My wait time was not long. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I no longer have a grail watch. I know once I obtained it, that target would move and it'd become a never ending chase.
Personally I'd never be able to get to one "grail" watch, it's just not for me.

Thought I would try a VAGENARI strap to see what the fuss is about.
*Yes it comes with QR fitting and the piece on the other end to attach deployant. *Rubber easily as soft as VC Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Anyone between sizes on the rubber/leather straps? I have a 4500 but I find the straps are either just a little too tight or just a little too loose no matter the configuration. I’ve experimented with flipping sides (so the long side at 12 and short at 6 and vice versa) but with the same results. I’ve opted to just wear it loose but wondering if anyone else has this issue.
Probably just the size of my wrist but it’s frustrating as I love the look on rubber. Fortunately the bracelet fits perfectly |

I also can see this as a slight annoyance as well. The holes on the rubber strap are spaced apart a bit too far. Ideally there could be a micro adjustment on the rubber as well, but to no avail. Have you considered punching a hole in between the two on the rubber strap, to get to the Goldilocks fit?

I’ve thought about it but don’t want to ruin an otherwise fantastic strap. First world problem in the end but was curious if I’m the only one. Micro adjustment would be fantastic but maybe they’re cooking that up for gen 4… |

Congrats again. I’m looking for this exact configuration too. The DT dial has some controversy as some people don’t like the imbalance of the AM/PM indicator but I actually think it makes the watch more interesting.

Totally agree about the DT dial. Just adds that little extra. To me there are better three handed options out there - a Royal Oak for example. I had an AP 15500 but it just didn’t sing to me. The dial just seemed empty. I had the ruthenium dial so perhaps that played part in it. I could definitely see another variant of a Royal Oak in the collections future.
