Side by side, the 2 mm difference in diameter is noticeable, but the proportions are better on the 58. On wrist, the lug to lug is very similar. Though 37 mm, the 54 wears a bit bigger. It’s very comfortable, but I don’t like the small crown. I also think the black and white bezel does not match the dial that well. I prefer the gilt markings on the 58. I also like the snowflake marker, on the second hand, of the 58. On the 54, they changed it to a lollipop. The devil is in the details. The lack of minute markers on the bezel, the smaller crown, no red triangle, no gilt markings, and seeming slightly disproportionate, though all small details, made the watch a little boring, compared to the 58. I also did not care for the Sunray dial, preferring the matte finish, slightly textured dial of the 58. The one thing I did like better was the T- fit bracelet clasp. Having said that, I added an aftermarket half link, and performed the clasp hack, to get a perfect fit, on my BB58. So, for all the reasons I listed, I’m keeping my 58:

I had stopped myself from wanting a 54 until I looked at these photographs. Damn.

When on wrist, you can’t even see the rivets, though they don’t particularly bother me, anyway.

I purchased one in June but I just listed it in the classifieds. It’s a great watch, extremely comfortable, and more accurate than the Rolex’s that I’ve owned. I sold my DJ to buy a 54 and BB Pro, but now I moving them to get another DJ. Wish I could justify keeping the all…

I just realized the BB54 has about the same dimensions as my Doxa 300T - a watch that is one of my very favorite wearing experiences. Anyone have both or can otherwise compare them on the wrist for reference?

Was finally able to pick up a BB54. Tried one on when they were first released and liked how it fit my 7" wrist. I have 34mm and 36mm vintage watches so the 37mm size never scared me off.

While it's very nice, I don't think it'll stay on the bracelet long. I've owned the MKII Kingston for about a decade and the plan was for the BB54 to replace it. We'll see. But I fully expect the BB54 to live on a Nato or leather strap and leave the 14060M on a bracelet.

I have a friend who wears one. It's a truly fine looking watch. If I was in the market for a Tudor it would be my first pick.

Crown feels like the same size as my 5-digit date just which is easy enough to use

I will say, I’ve been waiting for a Green OP36 since acquiring my dj36 from my AD. But today, after daily-ing my DJ for the the last month, I nabbed a BB54.
I might actually hold off on my medium Green Rolex quest.

I could rock a DJ36 and BB54 as a two watch combo for years!!
The DJ was an early wedding gift from my fiancé, so on motorcycle days it’s the Tudor!

Congrats!

It's a great watch. It checked every single box for me except for the Snowflake hand. I was ready to buy it, but the 50s design just demands a pencil or Mercedes hour hand.

And I know I'm probably screwing myself because Tudor will probably take this as a lack of interest in the rest of the details, which the watch does very well. Rather it's a case of that one feature is a dealbreaker for me.

I beg your pardon, guys: I was asked via PM about the BB54 and cannot reply to the user, so I want to inform him here:

Please send me a new message once you're ready to receive replies.

Great to hear. Would you mind throwing in here a side by side photo of these two beasts?

Looks perfect! Wondering if you can share the model number for this bracelet? Cheers!
