Here's another pic. I think the 6's are slightly open, and the red text is on the darker side, which is why I think it's a Mark V dial.

Yes, the 6's are open, and also the darker color of the red on SUBMARINER are indicators of a Mark5 dial.

My red sub

This is a watch that my FIL received as a gift in 1970. When he passed, my brother in law kept the Patek and the Oysterquartz day-date, but offered me the sub. Pretty nice guy, wouldn't you say? Its my daily wear watch, my DJ has been relegated to the safe.
