They do great work. But I put down a deposit for an Antarctique in February of 2022. I still didn't have it *two years later*, despite them announcing (and delivering!) so many new pieces, so I canceled my order. I love what they're doing aesthetically but no. Just no.

Czapek

Mine is on solid wrist rotation. A year in and I’m still reaching for it over others in the collection often.

Went to Topper’s event and met Mike who brought some of the new novelties.

That blue enamel dial of the new Promenade has a really cool 3D effects and I was glad to see it in person. I also like the 38mm case with some unique interesting features that makes it more complex on this minimalist watch. The Meteorite and purple for the Antarctique look very nice as well.

I was impressed with the way they did the purple. It's a subtle grey-purple color vs. the louder vibrant grape that a lot of brands have put out there. I think it makes the watch so much more wearable and interesting. Well done on that front.

Just trying a new look... by borrowing the wife's pearl bracelets. Not sure... yet wow gotta admit the pearls are mesmerizing imho. Perhaps move it to the other wrist with two others?

The watch looks great. So does the bracelet. I think I’d move the pearl bracelet to the other wrist however. The pearls look a little too bulky right next to the watch. If wifey has smaller pearls, it might be worth a look.

By the way, the more I see that monochrome dial (I think that's what it is), the more I like it. Definitely and underrated iteration!

Well, it's been quiet here the last couple months.

Some good news and a product release to share with you.

First off, all our orders from 2022 are fulfilled, and we are now working on 2023 orders. We've gotten average wait time down to about 15 months, and are pushing to reduce that further. For instance, W&W 23 novelties like the Revelation should ship in Q4 this year, and our 18K Antarctique Mount Erebus from W&W 24 is shipping now.

We've added a full time case finisher and polisher to our staff, and our 5th watchmaker starts work today.

There are a couple new youtube videos on the Czapek channel, but I'm sitting on a plane headed over the pond coming home from Geneva Watch Days and United has blocked youtube, so I can't post links.

This past week we announced the Antarctique Polar Sky with Aventurine dial in both 40.5 and 38.5 sizes, and also the Antarctique Flying Diamonds, same but with 13 invisble set baguette diamond markers cut in our "Antarctique Cut." The special cut is quite difficult and expensive vs a regular rectangular baguette.

The Polar Sky in both sizes is priced at CHF 26'000 or USD 30,500 for either size, and are LE's in 99 pieces for the L and 77 pieces for the S

The Flying Diamonds are LE 18 pieces each size and are priced at CHF42'800 or USD 50,200 for the 40.5mm or CHF 38'000 or USD 44,600 for the 38.5mm size.

Both come with this new amazing rubber strap in navy blue that has a grain finish that looks kind of like a pair of dark blue jeans, and a pin buckle, not deployant. (No, I don't have pricing on that yet Mr. Enjoy)

Again, sorry I am handcuffed on posting photos, but google is your friend. I'll post when I am in the office tomorrow.

Pairing the Antarctique with the aventurine dial and special indices makes for fantastic reference. Congratulations.

Incredible brand, my Antarctique survived the rotation where the RO didn't, and I'm considering selling my VC Overseas.
Even though it's quiet here, Czapek is recruiting during this crisis, while brands like UN / GP are not doing well. A lot of people are loosing their jobs, so kudos to Czapek for their success during these hard times !
