I have the 1815 rattrapante in platinum and it's a beast! This looks incredible in pix but I personally have zero love for Salmon...I mean "pink gold"!

Why the cut-off 11 when there is lots of space to the right. Not very well designed dial.

Well, if they moved the top subdial to the right people would complain about the lack of simmetry, so "damned if you do, damned if you don't".

My search began for my first Lange last summer in Munich, and I spent the better part of last fall vacillating between a Datograph and a Zeitwerk as my first Lange. In the end practicality won out and placed an order for a Datograph which I received earlier this year. But, the ZW continued to haunt me. So the hunt began for a gently used tuxedo dial ZW - made a couple of offers which didn’t pan out, but then the universe brought this beauty to me.

Two beautiful pieces HGG! Congrats.

I also have been haunted by the ZW. While I love my Lange collection (Lange 1 and 1815 U/D), the ZW is such a unique piece that I have felt that it would be the perfect addition. Decided that I was going to move forward, but then had to choose between the ZWin Platinum and the ZW Date. Platinum model is stunning, but is a year plus wait time and that wasn't gonna work for me. So I finally pulled the trigger on a ZW Date. She arrived yesterday and needless to say, I've gotten relatively little work done over the last 36 hours as I've been mesmerized by its beauty and intricacies.

I worry that the rest of my collection (Lange and non Lange) will struggle to win wrist time!

Thank you for all your input and help - I was originally looking for a gently used tuxedo dial/with the white gold bezel- as I didn't like the new Zeitwerk with the rose gold bezel -

yes indeed they are - the nice thing about them is I actually got them for my Datograph - but they also fit my Zeitwerk quite nicely.

No worries! The one you have is pretty special. Platinum and limited edition of only 200 made, IIRC! Well done ... Enjoy!!!
