This is so true. The watch simply does not photograph well. No matter how pretty the photo, the watch in the metal is stunning. It's a piece that has to be seen in person. I don't know of any other watch that suffers from this effect in this way.

One with all options selected (date, extra hour hand plus some gold) and one for the monochrome simplicity. :)

Thank you. For some reason I got the desire to get a "gold" watch this summer and looked at everything from Lange to Patek to VC to IWC to JLC to your standard gold Day Date but nothing really sang to me.

Then this Tuesday I headed over to my local Omega Boutique to try on the full Sedna (Rose) and Moonshine (Yellow) gold speedmasters. I just did not like either one. I walked down stairs a little depressed and thought - why don't I head over to my local Rolex AD. I went there and tried on the Root Beer and said "wow"! Of course they did not have anything to purchase and put me on their "wait list". That would not do - I saw that Nashville Watch had a NOS Root Beer so I got it today! Just fantastic. I really love the 2-tone - never thought I would like a 2-tone watch but this thing is beautiful.
