I love GO watches but their ADs are horrific in my experience but anyways first world problems.

I like this on bracelet more aesthetically but its gonna live on the strap since I'm always taking it for active type stuff and just feels right like this.

Bummer about the AD, but glad you got the strap and that GO was super responsive! Looks great on your watch.

Enjoying my SeaQ today.

Nice pics.

That dial looks different in every photo! This two-tone SeaQ is very tasteful as the gold is very subtle.

Just picked up the OEM rubber strap for my SeaQ and it’s fantastic! Really comfortable and I enjoy the color.

Gold two toned with fabric strap looks like the best version of this watch

I'm wondering what discount do retailers usually offer for GO? I'm interested in a Senator Observor and they offered 10% off, is this a good discount? Thank you for any insights.

When it comes to discounts it is always difficult to generalize. I think that your best data is to identify a few reputable sellers and see how well you can do.

This being said, my experience a few years ago on my PML was no discounts in the US but ~15-20% in Europe. The Observer is probably less popular, therefore the 10% off that you received (I assume in the US) is probably decent.

Last year I got 15% off my PML here in Melbourne. I think a bigger discount would have been possible, but I was happy with the price and don’t enjoy the barter process. I think 10% is okay, but probably worth a call or visit if there is another store nearby that carries them

Best of luck

This thread deserves more action. I try to love my other watches like I used to do but it's hard with this thing:

Spectacular!!!

I agree, I've got a nice little growing collection of GO pieces, I'll try to find the time to show them off lol.

I managed to snag a Panoreserve at 45% off in Sydney right before Covid... Then took 10% off of GST. Some fantastic deals at ADs on some of these GOs...

Those Sixties in funky colors are very atractive. Great fun watch to wear I would think

really enjoy my panorama date bicolor on the grey textile strap.
only gripe is that the strap hole has widened over the last few months and the deployant pin doesn't stay in reliably when I take the strap off.
almost dropped it a few times.
kinda defeats the point of the deployant.
any others experience this?

Not really but I don’t wear mine often (don’t get me wrong, I love it!).

Can you share some pics of the issue?

Anybody have any advice on where is the best place to get a GO.

Okay, let me clarify. I live in CA, and there is not GO boutique close to where I am. So I've gone to the GO website to see their authorized retailer list in the US, and frankly, there are not that many.

The ones that I have seen (most online of course) have limited selection in that they don't seem to carry the full line in most cases.

I've been trying to get a GO Seventies Panorama Date Chronograph, in particular, the new blue dial (08-02-70 series). There just doesn't seem to be that many places to go.

I guess I would be crazy to think I could get the limited edition turquoise fume dial version.

Anyway, are there other sites, sellers, resources to find these models for sale?

I'll check them out. Thanks.

Wondering if I could buy the bracelet separately so I can swap with the rubber strap on occasion.

That's possible but expensive. Better to order the watch with steel bracelet I would think. That's what I did and bought the rubber strap later.

Ugh. I just went to the Wempe NY site, and when I clicked regarding availability, the model with the steel bracelet is only available in their Dresden store. The model with the leather/rubber strap is only available in their Stuttgart store. The ostrich strap says to use their inquiry form.

Perhaps they can get it shipped from their non-US stores on a firm purchase.

Will need to contact them directly.

The bracelet will not be cheap, I believe $2500.

I really hope you find one, I have the Seventies Chrono yellow and love it.

Try reaching out to an approved dealer on here. They have vast webs of connections and I'm sure could find what your looking for probably at a discount to.
