It’s more golden compared to the more lemon color of my other one. The ones that came with the black chapter ring have this golden color. The yellow chapter ring ones are more lemon color. That’s been my experience.

Quite a large haul. 2 Crown Specials (1 Special Dial, 1 Applied Dial), a Seikomatic Blue Yacht Special Dial (an unusual, short-lived dateless Seikomatic with a unique swirling brushed dial), and a 14.5 King Seiko First Special Dial.

All need new boots, but seem good to go.

Quite surprised to be honest - was expecting to like the KS First the most (I’ve never seen a steel SD in anywhere near as good condition) but it’s the Blue Yacht that’s captured my heart.

I sourced a correct buckle, so I’ll be heading to Jean Rousseau to get something made. Ocean blue croc seems appropriate, no?

Nice group. Blue Yachts are cool, I've had a couple. That font is one of my favourites used by Seiko.
